Precious Time

It's such a special, precious time

You feel as though you're in your prime,

A pregnancy is a beautiful thing,

With all the excitement it can bring.

You feel so very beautiful,

And everything seems so wonderful,

As baby grows inside your womb,

And you decorate the nursery room.

So many things to do and plan,

When baby's birth is near at hand,

But there's no rush, so just enjoy,

And daydream of your little boy!

Expecting miracle

It is still incredible to comprehend how one life is placed into another, one sole is created within mother's womb. Indeed a miracle of miracles! It makes me think and meditate upon psalm 139:

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them! 

Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.

A gift from above

Before you are born...

If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby, when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on it’s cradle.
